The company’s biggest partner in road-building is State JSC “Latvijas valsts meži” (“Latvian State Forests”), with which cooperation has developed over several years, beginning with the areas of logging and forest management. Later, in 2003, after having evaluated out technical means, we were invited to participate in a tender for building forest roads. In the areas of melioration and meliorative construction we cooperate with the Farming Department with the Ministry of Agriculture, with which we close triangular deals (by involving nearby houses and farms) on excavation, creating and facilitating melioration systems, as well as other related services.
At the moment we offer the following services:
- Road-building (stump extraction, removing vegetation, ditching, preparing the road layer, constructing the drainage layer and gravel surfacing);
- Services of a grader;
- Sand and gravel trade;
- Creation of melioration systems;
- Drainage work;
- Excavation;
- Pond-digging.
It is anticipated to begin providing services on restoring the roads’ layer subject to grading.
The company currently has 3 bulldozers, 6 excavators, 7 dump trucks and a grader.
Our firm also has its own household of sandpits and gravel pits, where we obtain inputs used in road-building.
The road-building and melioration group employs 18 people at the moment. The group superior and foremen have higher education while other employees have permissions to work with respective machinery units.
